Creating An Effective Presentation For Your Team and Prospects

April 29, 2009 by Kahuna

Presentations are very important to the growth of your business, that is why it is important that you know how to do them effectively. Go to Corporate Trainer for more information.

Let’s take a look at what the presentation is for; the sole purpose of a presentation is to expose your prospect to the business. The key to giving an effective presentation is finding a need and then filling it with the vehicle of network marketing. Show your prospects how they can get what they want by joining your business.

The very first thing you want to do when you give these presentations is that you want to RELAX and dress appropriately. Also, make sure that you are the one controlling the mood of the get together, whether it be a one on one presentation, a PBR, or a business briefing. This is very important because you don’t want an ounce of negativity around you.

Furthermore, when it comes down to the presentation, make sure you are fully prepared with your distributor and follow up packs. If you are doing a one on one presentation make sure you put the prospect at ease and establish a little bit of rapport.

Find out exactly what it is that your prospect wants, then re-qualify them once you find out exactly what it is that they want by saying something like, “Ok, John, based on what you said you want, how much time are you willing to put into this business without interfering with what you are currently doing?”

It is critical that you include the last part because it decreases the possibility of the “I don’t have the time” factor. If they say they can’t put any time into it then, good, you know that you don’t have to waste your time doing the presentation. However, if they say they are going to be busy for a specific amount of time then offer to get back to them once that time period is over. It’s as simple as that. Trust me, this will save you a whole lot of time.

After you find out what they want and you re- qualify them, only then will you present the opportunity, company, products, money, and timing. After the presentation is over ask them if they see the opportunity as something they want to take advantage of, and if it looks like something that could possibly get them closer to their dream. If it does, then book a follow up meeting immediately with in the next 48 hours.

Moreover, the reason we use two on one presentations is because they have been found to have a higher conversion rate ratio because it involves a third party that has been properly edified before the meeting. Edification is critical in network marketing. Before you even introduce your prospect to your support team member it is important that you edify your support team member before the two of them even meet.

By this, I mean, make it seem like your support team member’s time is extremely valuable and make it an honor for your prospect to be able to meet him/her. By doing this, the prospect will think that your support team member really knows what he is doing and that he can learn some valuable information by listening to him. This point is critical. Refer to Presentations for more information.

When it comes to the business briefings, always tell your prospects to be at the briefings 15 to 30 minutes before the actual event starts because the event before the event is where all the action happens. Make sure that you introduce your prospect to as many people as possible in hope that they find someone that they can really relate to.

Never, let me repeat, NEVER talk about the business before the actual event. If the prospect ask you or your support team member what all this is about simply say, ” oh, well, that’s what we’re going to show you in just a couple of minutes, your going to love it.” Then ask them a question about themselves.

The point of the event before the event is to greet and meet people. During the event; however, is serious time. Make sure you and your support team are listening attentively to the speaker and taking a lot of good notes, and always act as if it is your first time at the event. If the speaker says a joke that you have heard a hundred times before, you should still laugh at it.

Furthermore, when it comes to the business briefings, a good idea is to set up half the amount of chairs as the number of people that you expect to come. The reason for this is because if people walk in, and there are more chairs than people, they are going to assume that this business you are doing isn’t going so well; however, if they are walking in and you need to go get them a seat because all the rest of them are taken they are going to think that this thing you have going on must be something pretty good. It is a psychological tactic.

After the event, when you gather all your prospects into your group to see how they liked the briefing, make sure that you have one of your support members with you so that they can answer any questions or objections that come up. Remember, third party always works better.

Have fun with your presentations and keep them short, approximately one hour to two hours long.

You wouldn’t want them to go to sleep on you, now would you??? Visit Corporate Training for further information.

What is a good source for sales strategy?

Sales Training Jobs will be one of the few training and development areas that will experience an increase in expenditures according to a recent report. With the global market place becoming ever increasingly crowded, learning how to increase sales and building customer loyalty simultaneously is now more important than ever before. Sales training often fails because it confuses attitude with process. To learn to sell, you need to understand the process.

Join a group of committed individuals to discuss practical uses and applications to boost yourself personally and professionally!

Product features are qualities and characteristics of the merchandise. Benefits satisfy buying motives such as approval, convenience, safety and pleasure. Products don?t sell themselves, sales people do. These sales techniques don’t come via your DNA, they come from continuous learning and years of experience. Product knowledge and value selling to a higher end product or service will be analyzed. A strength and weakness chart on the salesperson or clerk and general observations of the business, both in merchandising and cleanliness are prepared.

Advertising often tries to create a sense of urgency: suggesting that the product must be bought now, before low prices end or it is no longer in stock. Advertising and marketing generate prospective customers for companies that sell products and/or services. So do salespeople as they call, email, fax and personally visit potential customers. Advertise them using paid links, banner ads, search engine marketing, and PPC advertising.

Follow these Sales Techniques to improve your sales abilities. It’s not the ability to speak smoothly to your buyer, but rather it is the ability to question correctly, listen intently and respond with appropriate action. Follow the links at the bottom of this page to search for gifts on other topics or to purchase reproduction rights for any of these images.

Prospective customers would far rather listen to a satisfied customer than a sales person, which makes user-generated content a potent web strategy. Also, customer reviews are mostly positive, says Wilson. Prospects are progressing through the decision-making process before they reach your radar screen. Publishers need to create assets that cover all stages, including investing in development of late-stage content.

This Sales Strategy will be supported by a direct sales force, indirect sales channels and supported by direct mail, web advertising, and search engine placement. To build our sales prospects to a quality level, one strategy is to offer free access or use to the first group of clients (10 or 100) that sign with you. This results in a “potential for closure” rating. If an essential step in the closure process has not been completed, a ‘red flag’ is raised with an explanation of the concern. Corporate Training Tips For Effective Learning

April 24, 2009 by Kahuna

Training sessions can only be as effective as the trainer. If the trainer just delivers the content without sufficient interaction with those who are attending the training, then it will not be as effective. Here are a few training tips that will help make you an excellent trainer. Go to Corporate Trainer for more information.

1. Build Rapport

Make good use of the time before the training starts to mingle around with the participants.

Meet them and have a quick chat with as many people as possible. You will then be familiar with them even before the session starts. This will make it more conducive as you already know some of them.

Stay with some neutral topics like the traffic as they traveled to the training location or food. Keep clear of sensitive topics as you do not want to get into a argumentative situation before the training starts. The whole idea is to build rapport.

2. Go That Extra Mile

There is little value in delivering just what the training content dictates.

To make the training effective, do additional research and enhance the training so that the participants will get more out of the training.

Share your own experiences or those of others. You can do better than this if you can encourage the participants to share their experiences. You will be surprised at how much you also can learn from this.

Involve the participants as much as you can in interactive learning. Make learning fun! Provide an environment where they are willing to interact even if they are afraid of making mistakes.

You can pick up more training tips by attending training for trainers.

3. Use Different Training Techniques

You probably have experienced as a training participant, that lectures are the most boring of teaching methods.

Employ a number of interactive and accelerated training techniques. This enables a higher retention rate. Basically, remember that the training should be practical and the learning should be active. Refer to Corporate training for more information.

Some of the techniques that you can use are:
- group discussions
- presentations by the participants
- story telling
- case studies
- role play
- games
- quizzes

You should also use a variety of audio-visual aids like video, audio, flip charts, training props and posters.

Vary the activities according to the time of day. In the afternoon, when participants may feel drowsy, use active exercises to keep them alert.

4. Employ The Right Learning Ratio

For each topic that you want to reinforce, it is best to have a three-to-one learning ratio. For every learning topic, provide three different activities that will help the participant to get a good grip of that topic.

For example, you could use a video clip to introduce a story. Follow this up with a discussion in teams and then to present it to the other participants.

By adding multi-sensory and group activities, the learning retention is much better than if you just presented Powerpoint slides and threw in a quiz at the end.

5. Surprise Them

The whole training course should have been thoroughly planned and there should be no surprises to the trainer.

Not so with the participants. The point is that the trainer has planned to surprise the participants.

Surprise them with the different techniques that you apply. They may be aware of the content that you are teaching but not the techniques.

You may also want to motivate them with little rewards like chocolate bars or even some stationery. Awarding points to teams during the training program gets the participants excited and is as much a technique for adults as it is for kids.

6. Stick To The Course Objectives

It is, of course, crucial that the course is well mapped out. What are the main learning points from the training? What are the topics to be covered each day?

These have to be clearly stated to the participants, before the course and repeated each day, so that the training stays on course.

The last thing you want is to get carried away with some pet topic, and then to find that other topics do not get sufficient time.

Apply these training tips to achieve more effective learning the next time you need to do training. Remember this rule of three as you prepare and execute the training: repetition, recall, retention. Visit training specialist for further information.

Killer presentation: how to design your own

April 12, 2009 by Kahuna

The first, and probably the main goal of any presentation is to sale. That is what most presentation authors forget about. Sure, presentation must looks nice and sure, it must be a little funny, but its main goal is to sale your product, your business your consulting service or something else. Go to Corporate Trainer for more information.

So how to design presentation that not just show something, but sale it? There are some key principles, which will bring you right to the successful presentation.

First, I’m sure you know a lot about presentation topic and you can describe your product or idea in details, but let’s be honest, it’s not a whitepaper and people are not going to read it all over again trying to get some well developed idea. Why? Because they expect presentation to promote something, so if you what to talk and write about some how-to things, consider adding a whitepaper as a free bonus to your presentation. So, the first principle is keeping presentation simple.

Seconds, what about the number of slides? Should there be 10 or 100 slides in your presentation? Sure, it depends on what time you will have for your speech, sometime it’s really needed to talk a lot and in details, but for most cases, you will talk about 30 minutes. How to find out if your presentation is overloaded with details? Well, test it!

Third, the most important. Test your presentation in different ways. You should test the catchy title, you should test the structure of your presentation, you should test your facts and your conclusions. How to do the actual test? Do it yourself, ask your colleagues or even invite someone of your family members. Need to have more accurate test results? Consider using google for this purpose – find keywords, title and descriptions that people are willing to click. This will be a key to understanding your audience.

What about sales techniques? For sure, presentation is not a sales pitch, but you still have to use to texts that will make people buy. If you talk about the product or the service, then focus on key benefits. It is a good idea to compare your product against competitors’. In this case you should just focus on getting people interested in your product. Refer to Presentations for more information.

If the goal of your presentation is to sale your expertise in some area, then your sale affords must be focused on words like “we helped to…”, “we did this to …”, “our experienced proved that …”, this is the most simple way to tell people – we know what to do to help you. Finally, don’t forget to put information about your service in the bio block of the presentation and in the very first slide. If there would be some other speaker then your information will be showed a little more than your speech duration time.

Assume, there are some people in the room who where interested in your presentation, your goal is to make them finding you and your product easily. Prepare a special business cards and give them out after speaking, make it look different in comparison to simple business card. Make sure people will remember the name of your presentation, that’s why you need to test the title before doing presentation.

Finally, make it easy for all listeners to get a copy of your presentation. Give away a cd with your presentation, or share web address where it’s possible to view the presentation in flash format. Making presentation web-friendly will bring more incoming link to your web-site too. Test and share your presentation to achieve success. Visit Corporate Training for further information.

Fine Tune Your Corporate Focus With Management Leadership Training

Before beginning a management leadership training process it’s important to determine exactly where you want to be at the conclusion of the program. If you have investigated the various offerings available to your organization you know that management leadership training comes in various forms from outside experts to internal trainers to public seminars to DVDs. Which one or combination of solutions is best for you can more easily be determined when you know where you want the process to lead you. Go to business training for more information.

In other words defining in advance what a successful result will be for your organization and its members. Most business owners report that success is knowing their company’s values and its goals and then doing business in alignment with them. If you, as the business owner, expect successful results for your people at the end of their management leadership training – you must first be able to identify your core values and articulate them to the trainers – so that their efforts will point your employees in the direction of those values.

You organization’s purpose and its core values should be integrated into any management leadership training program so that the training reinforces them and they support the training, in an “everything leads to everything else” scenario. This is not meant to be cheer leading – rather it is to help imbed the core values in a way that causes managers and leaders to act in accordance with those core values naturally, reflexively. This is what builds the “way” that everyone in the organization addresses every issue.

Your organization’s values were not built in upon incorporation. You did not receive them as part of the Inc. package you received from your lawyer. When the company started it had no values of its own, only those of the original owners. Those values were instilled in them by their parents, mentors, teachers, peers, and everyone who cam in contact with them. Every day they, and now you, choose to accept or reject values from different sources. It is a never ending refining of who you are and who your people are as individuals and as an organization.

A successful management leadership training program helps people at every level in the organization quickly react with “that’s not like us” or “that’s the way we do things here” automatically. These internal values are combined seamlessly with the organization’s external persona or brand to insure people that when they do business with your company they can absolutely count on being traeted in a certain way. Refer to business training for more information.

While it might not be in the trainer’s brochure of benefits or on the DVD or online management leadership training web site, management leadership training crystalizes the internal and external values of everyone from the Board room to the loading dock. Whatever skills traing employees receive, in the long run it will be clear, are a bonus. How they see themselves as leaders and managers and how they are on board with the company’s mission is where the real lasting value is.

The training will help your employees see more clearly where the company is going so they can become a permanent part of the solution for themselves, their contemporaries, and all those who follow them. Management leadership training will help your employees get more of what is important to them and help your organization become more and more profitable in the process.

Since the beginning of time, leadership development has meant many different ways to encourage followers. Today’s leaders know that being a leader means to inspire others to follow them, during good times and bad. Visit Business Process training for further information.
